Moscow Mule Jell-O Shots
Football-shaped Jell-O shots made with vodka, ginger beer, fresh lime juice, and a hint of mint—icy, zesty, and perfect for game day.
- Yield: Yield: ~26 shots
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 limes, juiced (about 1 cup lime juice)
- 2 ¼ cups vodka (Barkeep or preferred)
- 3 cups ginger beer
- 6 packets unflavored gelatin
- Fresh mint (about 2 Tbsp minced, plus extra for garnish)
- Football-shaped silicone molds (about 4 trays)
Instructions
- Prep the citrus + mint: Juice the limes until you have about 1 cup of lime juice. Mince mint until you have 2 tablespoons, and set aside.
-
Bloom the gelatin: In a saucepan over low heat, add ginger beer + lime juice. Sprinkle in all gelatin packets and let sit for 1–2 minutes to bloom, then whisk until smooth.
-
Finish the mix (don’t boil): Whisk in the vodka and minced mint. Warm gently until the mixture is steaming and fully dissolved (a light simmer is okay), then remove from heat. Let cool 5–10 minutes so it’s not piping hot.
-
Mold + chill: Pour into silicone molds and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or until fully set). Unmold and garnish with extra mint.
